sum: io sono
"sum" was born in 2015 with our fashion atelier that creates tailor-made haute couture
garments for women.

Thanks to the continuous dialogue with women, we realized this irrepressible need of them to be and feel authentic, not being able to express this uniqueness with what fashion offers today.
For us, as a matter of fact, elegance is first of all a way to tell and express oneself.
So, be yourself. This is our brand's vision.
Hence our name.
Sum, from Latin, "I am".
“sum” : the name of the brand has been conceived in order to summarize in a single word the whole artistic-creative spectrum underlying the creation of each individual garment, from its conception, to the design phase, up to its completion.
"Being" as the identification of the multiplicity of the hallmarks of the person, in order to interpret the most essential peculiarities and, through a classical but contemporary revisited style, to evoke them through the clothes and translate them
into their manufacture.
Domenico Moschetta, sum Creative Director
The collections arise in our design office from our
creative director’s mind, Domenico Moschetta, followed by a team of expert tailors using exclusive raw materials and fine craftsmanship.
Entirely MADE IN ITALY production is entrusted to carefully chosen partners throughout our country, who guarantee quality and attention in the creation of each individual garment, thanks to the experience gained over the years working in this industry.
Before being delivered, each piece is subjected to multiple quality checks by our team.
Fall-Winter 22-23 campaign
slow fashion
Fashion is the second most polluting sector in the world, right after the oil industry. This pollution is mainly due to the waste of water, energy and CO2 emissions deriving from the overproduction of fast fashion.
On the contrary, with its collections, sum marries the "slow fashion" project for a more ethical and sustainable consumption, in order to preserve craftsmanship and the environment.
The goal is to create collections composed of more durable, quality garments, which go beyond the classic concept of seasonality. The productions are more contained, avoiding waste and excessive consumption of raw materials.
